E&W COUTURE
E&W Couture have been breaking bridal stereotypes since 2014, questioning the conventional styles and adding their own take on traditional. Their pieces are made to stand out in the bridal world and make your guests salute you for being 100% authentic. Born and made in Cardiff, all of their pieces are designed, developed and manufactured at their city centre workspace. They want to offer brides something a little different with mix and match options to suit any personality, unusual fabrics and figure flattering cuts.
IDRIS
Idris is a favourite here at Whisper, and a shape that suits every body type. The fabric is a vegan printed organza with a bold floral pattern which is incredibly lightweight and lined with a super soft satin.
Idris features a low plunging neckline with a dramatic balloon sleeve. If you’d prefer a shorter sleeve or a back that covers a bra, these are options you can discuss in your appointment with Jenny. Did we mention that Idris also has pockets?
MABLI
Mabli is the same shape as Idris but comes in a plain fabric. This is a dress that screams less is more and the incredible Ecovero vegan fabric does all of the talking. Mabli is also available in a satin that is derived from wood-pulp if you’d like a heavier option with a bit more shine.
Another gorgeous shape that flatters so many bodies but if you’d prefer a shorter sleeve or a back that covers a bra, these are options you can discuss in your appointment with Jenny.
NOVA
Nova is an eye-catching overlay paired with E&W’s signature Tillie slip. The fabric consists of a golden tulle with silver glitter stripes that catch the light at all times of day. Nova is a dress that could definitely be altered after the big day to be re-worn on special occasions.
Featuring big balloon sleeves with elasticated cuffs, and a scoop back with button closure below the waist. Mix and match the sleeve or back to create your own version of Nova.
INDIE
Indie is the ultimate bohemian wedding dress. Featuring a soft pink/nude mesh underlay which is topped with a unique and modern coral pattern lace that features a very feminine scalloped edge. The dress is finished with a tulle layer over the skirt to make it extra ethereal.
The dress features a deep plunge with a small keyhole opening at the front (optional) and a low v back that can always be raised and lined to cover a bra. It's undeniable that there is something oh so Stevie Nicks about this dress…
FFLUR
Fflur is one of our most flattering shapes and the double darted bust really does wonders. The floaty sleeves hit at the perfect spot to accentuate your waistline and the skirt skims over your hips creating the perfect a-line shape. The Train (optional) brings the drama and falls into a beautiful circle behind you.
Complete with a pink/tan mesh underlayer and a delicate floral embroidered lace overlay. This dress can also be lined in champagne or ivory satin and the sleeves and back are customizable.
EDITH
Edith is a timeless classic. The luxurious heavyweight fabric is is a satin derived from wood pulp lined with E&W’s incredible slip satin. This dress has a double darted front which creates a flattering shape on the bust with a low plunging neckline buttoning down to just above the knee.
The full floaty sleeves hit at the perfect spot to accentuate your waistline and the covered back is a demure finishing touch to such a simple and elegant gown.
DILYS
Dilys is a laid back wedding dress that features a knot detail front and gorgeous short puff sleeves. The a-line skirt is super flattering and the open back can be closed with covered buttons down just below the waist.
The fabric is a recycled waffle with stretch providing a super comfy fit. The rigidness of the waffle creates a unique drape to the skirt.
ISLA
Isla features an overlay that is covered in small embroidered daisies in a t-shirt style shape. The overlay is paired with E&W’s signature Tillie slip which can be ordered in ivory or champagne.
The overlay combines short capped sleeves, a rounded neckline and a low V back that can be raised to cover a bra. This dress is easy and very comfortable to wear.
CARIAD
Cariad is a real wild-card here at Whisper. I often put brides in this to try something different and how can they not fall in love? The dress features a bold sequin floral lace that is overlaid onto champagne satin.
The dress is a slip style with a lovely bow tie cut out detail to the back. The straps are adjustable and the dress is extremely comfortable, perfect for a summer wedding.
INDIE CROP
Our Indie Crop is made from a unique and modern coral pattern lace that features a very feminine scalloped edge at the hem and sleeve. The Crop is available sheer or lined with satin or nude mesh.
Our Indie crop pairs really well with our Tillie and Elliot slip or can be worn over our Anya bodice with our Olive or Scarlett Skirts.
ISLA CROP
Our Isla Crop is made from a gorgeous lace fabric covered in small embroidered daisies in a t-shirt style shape The Crop is available sheer or lined with satin or nude mesh.
Our Isla crop pairs really well with our Tillie and Elliot slip or can be worn over our Anya bodice with our Olive or Scarlett Skirts.
EFFY CROP
Effy is made from a french lace overlaid onto a nude/tan mesh that is stretchy and provides a super comfortable fit. The crop comes in 2 front styles to show more or less skin, one with a central flower and the other with a central point.
The Crop comprises a beautiful sheer long lace sleeve that extends over the hand with delicate pointed lace edging. The back can be raised to cover a bra, options can be discussed with Jenny during your appointment.
PHOEBE CROP
Phoebe is a loose fit, heavily beaded lace crop that is made up of a circular pattern combining cream pearls and silver threads that shimmer under any light.
The heavy weight of the crop allows it to hang with a loose fit to create a cape-like feel with the open back. The crop pairs well with our Tillie and Elliot slips.
DYLAN SET
Dylan is a checked organza fabric overlaid onto a crisp silk dupion in a full circle style skirt that nips you in at the waist and creates some drama from the crisp fabrics. The crop is a wrap over style lined in silk with elasticated sleeves and button back detailing.
While Dylan contains silk, this is something that can be swapped out to a vegan alternative if requested.
